Yeah…I was a good 20 seconds myself as I waited for the page to load before I scrolled down. That sense of ‘discovery’ was cool, however, and I found myself scrolling the page up and down in a sort of ’scrubbing’ fashion to see the wave effect over and over.

@jeremy Glad you found the scroll enjoyable. It was my little joke based off those annoying chain letters that would reveal the message as you scrolled. I just hope people find it as a joke and not annoying.

@jason Haha I hope you had a good laugh and wern’t pissed off after waiting. It would be cool to see how long it takes people to scroll or if they do. I wish I had the time to try to implement it

But seriously… I was waiting for the page to load for like 10 seconds before I realized it was loaded and I could scroll. You should time us: how long does it take before you scroll? Make a JS counter that tracks viewport scrolling and tell people they’re impatient, no matter what.

Nice visual effect to illustrate the ‘waiting’ theme. It was enjoyable to scroll down and wonder when the ‘wait’ would pay off.
