Lessons Learned
It’s not all sunshine and rainbows here. I’ve killed my fair share of plants too. I’d like to think that each one has tought me a lesson so that others may survive.
- Turns out that watering consistently on the same day every week isn’t great. Just buy a water meter.
- I wanted them to grow big and put them in a big pot. Too big of a pot meant that they were sitting in pockets of wet soil too often.
- In Texas there is a strong sun; plants fell victim to that sun.
- Let’s be real, I can never going to be able to give them the right conditions for them to live.
- So many pots don’t have drainage but they look so cool, right?
- All that peat moss that you came in from the store does a great job when you’re in that hot and humid greenhouse but not really so great in my dry home.
